Please contact us or use this form with the details of your search and the day and time you’re available to view our apartments. We will respond as soon as possible to confirm your appointment and answer any questions you may have.

Thank you for choosing Chicago Apartment Place, Inc. for your apartment rental needs. In an effort to streamline the application process, we encourage all applicants to use our online application service hosted by Resident Research, LLC. Online applications take approximately 2-3 business days to process. The application fee is payable online at the time the application is submitted and is non-refundable.

What You Need to Apply
Application Fee: $150.00 per applicant ($100.00 per co-signer applicant). The application fee is required prior to the processing of your paperwork and is non-refundable.
Photo ID: Please have a photo id ready to submit with your application.
Application Documents: Whether you apply online or on paper, we will need a fully completed application, rental history verification, and employment verification for each applicant. We use a third-party service to obtain credit history and national eviction search reports.
Roommates and Co-signers: Each roommate and co-signer, if applicable, must apply separately and pay the non-refundable application fee.
Move-in Fees: $125 per bedroom payable at lease signing.

Paper Applications
To receive paper applications please e-mail us at [email protected]. Paper applications take approximately 7-10 business days to process. The application fee for a paper application can be paid online via RentCafe, a third-party online payment processor.
Below are the items requested from a prospective tenant(s) to secure a unit:
- Clear copy of a government-issued photo I.D. (i.e. driver’s license, state I.D., passport).
- Application fee – $150.00 per applicant.
- Move-in fee – $125.00 per bedroom. Details below regarding move-in fee:
- $125.00 – Studio and one bedroom
- $250.00 – Two bedrooms
- $375.00 – Three bedrooms
- $500.00 – Four bedrooms
- $625.00 – Five bedrooms
- $750.00 – Six bedrooms
- One full month’s rent – If less than 14 calendar days from the prospective tenant(s) move-in date, funds need to be guaranteed (cash, money order, cashier’s check or pay online).
- Completed Residential Lease Application
- Completed prospective tenant(s) portion of the employment verification form.
- Completed prospective tenant(s) portion of the rental history verification form.
- All prospective tenant(s) have fully initialed and signed the Chicago Apartment Place, Inc. lease, including the heating cost disclosure for the unit they are applying for.
If any of the above has not been completed, the unit will remain on the market and we will continue advertising and showing the unit until a prospective tenant(s) has completed all of the requirements. Please be aware of the urgency to complete all of the above as soon as possible.
Online payments to Chicago Apartment Place, Inc. are processed by RentCafe. If you’re applying to rent with us, you may use this service to pay application fees, first month’s rent, and move-in fees.
