Pay Online with RentCafe

Chicago Apartment Place, Inc. is pleased to offer applicants and residents the ability to pay online via RentCafe!

Tenants will enjoy the following benefits:

  • Online, one-time payments via ACH, debit card, or credit card.
  • Ability to set up automatic payments to help eliminate late fees.
  • Check your balances and payment history.

A RentCafe e-mail invite from [email protected] will be sent to you.

STEP 3:

Complete registration through the instructions provided via RentCafe e-mail.

ACH: $0.00 Service Fee

Credit Card: 2.95% Service Fee (Mastercard, Visa, Discover, AMEX)

Debit Card.

  • $3.95 Service Fee per transaction for payment amounts less than $,1000.00
  • $4.95 Service Fee per transaction for payment amounts equal to or greater than $1,000.00 but less than $2,000.00
  • $9.95 Service Fee per transaction for payment amounts equal to or greater than $2,000.00

* Subject to change. The service fee is collected by the Payment Agent, not the property management company, and will not display on your ledger. Service fee is non-refundable.

Walk-In. Submit checks, money orders, or cash at our office during normal business hours. Please request a receipt when paying with cash or money order.

Drop Box. Located at the bottom right side of our office front door, conveniently leave your payment in the drop box even if our office is closed. Please do not leave cash.

Mail.  For payments by regular mail, please allow 5-7 business days for your payment to reach us. Please do not send cash by mail.

Online Bill Pay. Set us up as a payee with your bank and schedule one-time or recurring payments online from your checking account. Your bank will mail a check to our office on your behalf. Read more below or contact [email protected] for further assistance.

Scheduling your payment

Payment Date: Please schedule your payment so that it is delivered by the 1st of the month for which it is due.  If your payment is not received in our office by the 5th of the month, a late fee will apply.
